South Korea and US hold talks after North Korean missile launch

Defence officials from South Korea and the US have met in the wake of North Korea’s renewed military aggression.

North Korea has fired at least 23 missiles, including one intercontinental ballistic missile.

The US Defence Secretary Lloyd Austin reaffirmed the countries’ close relationship at a Pentagon media conference, saying their “alliance is iron-clad”.
