Battle of ‘left and right’ replaced with individual ‘rights’ versus ‘collective’ tyranny

Sky News host Rowan Dean says the battle is no longer between the right and left but between the “rights and responsibilities of the individual versus the tyranny of the leftist collective”.

Mr Dean said for any hot topic of the day or political agenda which is raised, a “pretty simple” question must be asked.

“Does this issue enhance the rights and responsibilities of the individual – in which case support it – or does this issue further entrench the tyranny of the leftist collective – in which case it must be opposed,” he said.
