Donald Trump says’ We have to overturn this election’ in unhinged phonecall

Donald Trump today called into an election hearing to say he “won by a lot” and that poll watchers were “treated like dogs”.

His call came after Rudy Giuliani revealed Trump’s team is checking graveyards for the names of dead Americans they suspect “voted” through mail-in ballots.

Trump’s lawyer railed against “corruption and fraud” and claimed thousands of mail-in ballots were submitted by dead people at a public hearing on the election in Pennsylvania.

President Trump was reportedly expected to join the hearing in person, but the trip was called off when a member of his campaign tested positive for coronavirus, CNN reported.

According to reports, Trump adviser Boris Epshteyn has been diagnosed with Covid and was not planning to go to today’s hearing – just days after Andrew Giuliani tested positive for the virus.

Instead of President Trump attending the event, he phoned in.

Speaking on the phone, which was held up to a microphone, Trump said: “If you were a Republican poll watcher you were treated like a dog and the Democrats had no problem. What happened here – this is not the United States of America.”
